Explore our Boutique Apartments

8 Homes is located in the heart of Vathy village. A few steps away from the quayside and central square, 8 Homes is nestled amongst picturesque olive groves, making it quiet and peaceful.

Access to it is very easy and quick through the main village road and you can enjoy easy walking distance to all grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants, coffee shops, and bars.

The 8 beautiful boutique apartments are designed to keep you cool, though each flat is equipped with air conditioning.

Occupancy & Facilities

All our homes can host up to three (3) adults or two (2) adults and up to two (2) children aged ten (10) years or younger. Children over the age of 10 years are counted as adults.

We offer 4 apartments on the ground floor with their private porch and garden, and 4 apartments on the 1st floor with their private balcony.

At the entrance to the apartments, there is a lounge area for enjoying drinks or coffees if you are a larger family or group of friends.

All apartments have queen-size beds in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge area. There is a spacious bathroom with a shower in each apartment. The shared gardens around the apartments are beautifully kept.

Free Guest Parking on site is available subject to availability.

A housekeeping service every third night you stay with us is included in your stay. Towels and bed linen are changed twice weekly. If you would like any additional cleaning to be arranged, please select an add-on service to your stay as part of your booking.

Breakfast is NOT included.

Pets: We love animals. Unfortunately, all our apartments do not allow pets. Therefore, we have a strict no pet policy.

Welcome to Meganisi Island and Vathy Village

Meganisi Island is a hidden gem located in the Ionian Sea off the west coast of Greece. The name "Meganisi" means "big island" in Greek, but it is actually the largest of a small group of islands. The island is less than 5 nautical miles from mainland Greece and just a couple of miles from the island of Lefkada.

Meganisi Island is unspoiled by over-development, and its location between the mountains of mainland Greece and Lefkada Island provides spectacular views and wonderfully sheltered waters.

Vathy is the main fishing port on Meganisi Island, and it is a picturesque and delightful harborside village bustling with activity. The quayside is lined with a number of excellent tavernas, restaurants, cafés, and bars. 

It is popular with yachts, which you will see coming and going from the quays and marina. Vathy has supermarkets, a bakery, and a patisserie, in addition to a few gift shops and boutiques.

Payments

A deposit equivalent to 50% of the total stay amount is required at the time of booking via credit card, the remaining 50% is to be 14 days prior to arrival. 

The full amount of the stay will be required at the time of booking for all bookings made within 28 days of arrival.  

All reservations will be considered confirmed upon receipt of the initial deposit and confirmed by 8 Homes via email. 

Payments made in sterling will be charged at the exchange rate set by the bank being used for the transfer.

Cancellation Policy

Guests can cancel free of charge until 30 days before the arrival. Guests will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel within the 30 days before arrival. 

If guests don't show up they will be charged the total price of the reservation. No fees will be charged for bookings cancelled within 24 hours of booking. 

Cancellations must be made in writing sent to our postal address or via email. We cannot accept cancellations by phone or fax.

We understand that sometimes things happen, so if you need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible.
